What you will learn
Match front and upper face colors before every demonstration, follow a single move at a time, and compare the same face after each turn.
Before you begin
Set a clear front and upper face on your physical puzzle. If you are using the simulator, choose the appropriate cube size, then hold the same orientation before comparing moves. Review face-turn notation whenever a move symbol is unfamiliar.
Find the pieces or pattern
Match front and upper face colors before every demonstration, follow a single move at a time, and compare the same face after each turn.
Try this short exercise
Do one R turn in the trainer and on the physical cube, then verify both viewpoints.
Check your result
Stop after the exercise and compare your real cube with the interactive 3D cube. Check neighboring face colors, not just the face closest to you. If the outcome differs, repeat slowly from a known position.
The current app cannot visually verify your physical cube; you confirm those moves yourself.
Take the skill into your next solve
Apply this lesson during one deliberate practice solve. Describe what you see before moving, make only the move you intended, and check the result. Confidence with piece recognition and reliable turns matters more than repeating a long sequence quickly.
